Rules of the Tournament

1. Ball Rules:

   1. The tournament will be played with a Red Tennis ball.

   2. Each innings will start with a new ball.

   3. If a ball is lost or broken before the 2nd over, a new ball will be issued; otherwise, an old/used ball will be used.

2. Scoring and Umpiring:

   1. All scoring will be done on the CricHeroes app.

   2. Neutral umpires will officiate all matches, and their decisions are final.

3. Player Conduct:

   1. Teams must uphold the spirit of the game.

   2. Misbehavior or abuse of umpires will result in disqualification of the team.

4. Match Start and Delay Rules:

   1. Teams must report 30 minutes before the scheduled match start time.

   2. Delay penalties:

      1. Up to 5 minutes: 1 over reduced per side.

      2. Up to 10 minutes: 2 overs reduced per side.

5. Fielding Restrictions:

   1. During non-power play overs, a minimum of 4 fielders must be within the inner circle.

6. Batting Rules:

   1. LBW and leg byes are not applicable.

   2. No-balls result in a free hit in the next delivery.

7. Bowling Rules:

   1. Minimum 4 bowlers must be used in a 10-over match, and 5 in a 12-over match.

   2. Two bouncers are allowed per over, provided the ball passes between the shoulder and head.

8. Dead Ball Rules:

   1. A ball is declared dead if it bounces more than once in front of the batting crease.

9. Waste Management:

   1. Teams will be provided with trash bins for waste segregation.

   2. Empty water bottles must be handed back to the organizers.

10. Rule Changes:

    1. The tournament committee reserves the right to frame, change, or modify any rules at any stage.
